Seeds from Sparks


​If one were to look upon an area after a wildfire, seeing only the physical damage, one would not know what was brewing below.  After a wildfire displaces wildlife and people and nearly destroys everything in its path, the dormant seeds do eventually awaken.  New life does sprout after destruction.  Some of the strongest species come alive after the storm passes. 

And while these species grow towards the light, they root themselves firmly in new soil, never looking back.  They are focused only on their expansion.  We can be like the Sequoia who sprouted from a dormant seed.  We can become deeply rooted, grounded and growing strong like The Standing Ones who were birthed from the fires.
