Our love was lost |
Love Is The Bridge.
Love is the link that connects us through both time and space. Love is the bridge that links us to our beloveds outside of time and space. Loving what we "lost" is the way we find our loved ones again. For the love we shared cannot be lost. Love is the bridge to rebuilding what appeared to be destroyed. Love is the eternal link that cannot be broken.
As we appreciate and celebrate, our loved ones are embracing their appreciation and love for us in each moment, outside of time and space. There is no time or space where our loved ones cannot come to us. Their support and unconditional love is not over because their physical life ended; their love is now.
One of the most powerful things we can do for both ourselves and our loved ones who left this world for another, is keep the love alive. This is no trite statement. When we cherish and honor our love for them, they feel this. When we celebrate their unique light, we create new pathways of peace on both sides.
Whether we do this in our mind, write a letter to them, hold a ceremony, or create something beautiful in their honor, we are creating new pathways of peace and empowerment. When we embrace our deep appreciation and remembrance for their unique physical life - while in a state of feeling uplifted - this allows us to connect with them in their nonphysical life. When we creating anything that is inspiring, beautiful, and uplifting that honors their life, it heals us on every level of existence.
Grief, sadness, anger, and depression do not allow us to feel their loving presence. Joy, appreciation, celebration, laughter, and peace allow the lines of new communication to flow freely. When we speak of their life, beyond what happened to them, we are honoring who they were while they walked the world a while. When we see beyond what happened to their body, we are honoring Who they now are in spirit. When we heal our pain and trauma and sense of loss, we allow our loved ones in spirit to find peace, too.
Time can be kind to the ones left behind. While we still walk the world, we have time to heal. As we consciously choose a path of peace and empowerment, we give our loved ones in spirit permission to find theirs. As as we walk the world with joy-filled hearts and lighter minds we will come to find the ones who left this world for another have been healing outside of time. They become eternal beings who now lovingly guide and protect their loved ones, while we continue to walk the world awhile.

Oh your smiling face, your gracious presence
The fires of spring are kindling bright
Oh the radiant heart and the song of glory
Crying freedom in the night
These are the days, the time is now
There is no past, there's only future
There's only here, there's only now
- "These are the days", song by Van Morrison
